Hard & Rollers

Real name: Dmitry Blinnikov.
City: Saint-Petersburg.
Genres: hard techno, experimental techno, industrial techno.
His serious addiction to electronic music began in 1997. Stu’art was one of the participants in the experimental project Tenzor at that time, recording for well-known Russian IDM-label Cheburec. Dmitry began to collect and spin records in 2004. His style still remains something between hardcore, techno and hard techno – with records by such artists like Mark Hawkins, Sandy Warez, Quick & Smart, DJ Mahatma, Manu le Malin, and many others in his box.
In 2007, after series of successful live acts with Optica, a new project was born – Optica & Stu’art, with new tracks and live programs being made. Besides that, Dmitry is a part of Hard & Rollers project (Daf and Stu’art) – hard techno with industrial & hardcore elements. Moreover, Dmitry has also collaborated with Energun & Logica project. Over the past few years Stu’art took part in various festivals and open-airs, all over the Russia and abroad, in cities like Cherepovets, Vologda, Minsk, Grodno, Arkhangelsk, Rostov-on-Don and others. As a DJ, he’s always a welcome guest at many St. Petersburg techno events and gigs.
The music that he plays is romantic and sentimental, strange and extraordinary, pushing and totally insane. It’s full of power – the pure sound of techno, pulsating from the ceiling directly to the brain, a mixture of a beat and a chain saw.
